A Qatar World Cup Supreme Committee is considering housing visiting fans for the 2022 World Cup in tents next to the stadiums, saying: “(We) are actively researching the concept of supporters sleeping under the stars to ensure a truly unique World Cup experience in 2022.” (REPORT)
Kevin De Bruyne, who suffered a knee injury in January, said his recovery is ahead of schedule, and he expects to return to the English Premier League following the March international break. (REPORT)

I hate to say it and I hope my brother doesn’t see this comment, but I love watching Kevin De Bruyne. I am a life long United fan and I really don’t enjoy typing this, but De Bruyne is the best player in the premier league.

A shanty town sounds like a breeding ground for all kinds of safety issues.
There’s so many hazardous variables to this World Cup in Qatar that could go wrong I don’t even know where to begin. My only question is: Where are the migrant slaves going to be housed if we sleep in their tents?
They can go to texas and live with the migrant farm workers in slightly better conditions

I’m curious as to what was presented for hotel and guest accommodations in Qatar’s bid to FIFA. I suspect in that section, it referred to a separate appendix, or under separate cover. And of course, when any members bothered to open the appendix included in the bid in a separate envelope, several bundles of high denomination bills fell out with the note: “We don’t have any, but do you care?”
Will the tents have zero emissions air conditioning?
I’ve done the tent thing in the Middle East. It was an amazing experience out beyond the city lights. This won’t be quite so cool if you are in the middle of a city next to the stadium.
How about we just hold the world cup somewhere appropriate instead of housing supporters in tent cities?
