Soccer Tuesday: Your Running Commentary

Champions League play returns this Tuesday, both in Europe and on this side of the Atlantic.

Barcelona-Atletico Madrid headlines action in the UEFA Champions League. The Blaugrana suffered their first defeat in months over the weekend, while Atletico should present a another tough challenge. Centerback Diego Godin and midfielder Yannick Carrasco are likely to return to Diego Simeone’s side, meaning Tuesday’s first leg should be quite the spectacle.

Bayern Munich faces Benfica in the other UCL match of the day.

Club América hosts Santos Laguna and Tigres UANL plays Querétaro in the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals in the evening. None of the four teams were able to score a goal in the first legs, so all is to play for on Tuesday.
