Orlando City’s flare for the dramatic was in full effect on Saturday as the Lions sealed victory with a 100th minute game-winner.

Toronto FC and Orlando City exchanged a pair of goals after the 83rd minute before Kaka provided a winner deep into stoppage time, sealing a 3-2 victory at Camping World Stadium.

Tied at 1-1, Orlando City appeared to seal three points late with Adrian Winter’s finish, but it was Justin Morrow’s goal that appeared to prove decisive as TFC inched towards a late point. However, a foul in the box from Drew Moor and an ensuing red card to Josh Williams gave Kaka the chance to win in from the spot. The Brazilian star did just that, sealing all three points.

It took just five minutes for Cyle Larin and Orlando City to provide the game’s first goal, but it was Kevin Molino who provide the moment of magic with a spectacular assist. Free on the left side, Molino weaved a pass between three TFC defenders, finding Larin on the back post. The Canadian international was left with a simple tap-in, one which gave Orlando City a 1-0 lead and the goalscorer his eighth finish of the campaign.

The second half began much like the first with an early finish, but this time it was TFC providing the goal.

After receiving the ball at the top of the box, Jonathan Osorio played a pass to Morrow, who proceeded to flick a first-time back heel towards Jordan Hamilton. Wide open, the TFC forward fired home to level the scoreline.

The two teams remained tied until the 83rd minute, when Winter stepped up to provide what looked to be the winner before Morrow struck to seal a draw.

Following Saturday’s result, TFC takes the field next on Saturday against the Seattle Sounders, while Orlando City faces off with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in U.S. Open Cup action on Wednesday.
