Soccer Sunday: Your Running Commentary


With just three spots remaining in the quarterfinals at the Copa America Centenario, two tickets will be punched on Sunday as Group B concludes.

Brazil and Peru will do battle tonight, with both CONMEBOL nations vying for the group’s top spot, while Ecuador remains mathematically alive as they take on Haiti.

In Europe, Euro 2016 hits Day 3 as Groups C and D begin play. Germany-Ukraine highlights the afternoon session, while Turkey-Croatia and Poland-Northern Ireland meet earlier in the day.

The NASL Spring Season officially concludes on Sunday as FC Edmonton hosts the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. On Saturday, Indy Eleven temporarily took the top spot in the league table, although the Strikers could overtake them with a six-goal victory today in Canada.
