Despite failing to complete a last-second deal in 2015, David de Gea could still be on his way to Real Madrid.

The Manchester United keeper is reportedly being heavily pursued by Florentino Perez and Real, despite boasting Costa Rica international Keylor Navas. Real and De Gea’s agent, Jorge Mendes, are said to have a deal in place, but if the La Liga club reneges on their offer de Gea could be compensated over $22 million. (REPORT)

Manchester City has completed the signing of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. The 25-year-old played five seasons at Dortmund, making 157 appearances for the German club. (REPORT)

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez scored Mexico’s lone goal in the team’s 1-0 win over Chile on Wednesday night. Both nations will begin their run at the Copa America Centenario in the coming days. (REPORT)
