Both MLS clubs in action on Tuesday night in the CONCACAF Champions League picked up positive road results, while Olimpia earned a convincing three points at home.

The Honduran side came away with a 4-0 win against 10-man Police United after a pair of first-half finishes were later coupled with goals by Javier Estupinan and Michaell Chirinos.

Olimpia is now level for first place in Group E with three points, however, Pachuca has only played one less match in CCL play than Los Leones.

Here’s a quick look back at how the MLS sides fared in Tuesday night’s CCL results:

ELLIS PROVIDES SPORTING WITH EQUALIZER

Sporting KC needed a late Kevin Ellis finish to equalize against Central FC, after Marcus Joseph and on-loan Atlanta United forward Kenwyne Jones put the Trinidadian side in front after halftime.

Seth Sinovic gave Peter Vermes’ team a first-half advantage against the Caribbean side, but the draw puts Sporting KC in a good position before facing off against the group-leading Vancouver Whitecaps on August 23 at BC Place.

RED BULLS PICK UP VALUABLE ROAD POINT

Meanwhile, the New York Red Bulls were given a big lift from new addition Omer Damari in the second half against Alianza. After Alexander Larin blasted a free kick past Luis Robles to give the home side the advantage, Damari tapped in for 1-1 with under 20 minutes remaining.

Without a cast of regulars for the Red Bulls, head coach Jesse Marsch utilized many of his young players on Tuesday, including Derrick Etienne and Aaron Long, from the opening whistle. However, it was a pair of veterans that made the difference in the end as Damarai combined with substitute Sacha Kljestan to score the vital goal.

The 1-1 tie keeps the Red Bulls atop Group F on four points, while both Alianza and Antigua trail with one point apiece.
