Midday Ticker: Hart, Chelsea, Roma and more


One of the English Premier League’s top goalkeepers appears to be set for a move, while Chelsea look set to reload before the end of the transfer window.

Joe Hart is set to leave Manchester City in this transfer window according to Sky Sports. Sevilla and Everton are reported to be among those interested in the 29 year old English goalkeeper (REPORT).

Adding to the rumors is the fact that Willy Caballero will start Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday over Hart. (REPORT).

Chelsea is reportedly set to offer a fee in the range of €50-55 million for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. (REPORT)

In addition, Chelsea is reportedly targeting Cologne’s Jonas Hector. The 26 year old German defender has been previously linked to Liverpool, but Chelsea appear to be in for him as well. (REPORT)

AS Roma has officially signed Bruno Peres on loan for €1 million with an obligation to buy for a future fee of €12.5 million pending performance targets. The 26 year old midfielder arrives after two years at Torino. (REPORT)


AC Milan are reportedly finalizing the transfer of Jose Sosa from Besiktas for a €7.5 million transfer fee. The 31 year has spent the last two seasons in Turkey. (REPORT)

Former FIFA President Joao Havelange has passed away at 100 years old on Tuesday morning in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Brazilian preceded Sepp Blatter’s term and held the office from May of 1974 to June of 1998. (REPORT)
