NASL Ticker: Rayo OKC, Cooper, Miami FC, and more

One of the NASL’s newest clubs appears to be in disarray while several veteran strikers are working with teams throughout the league.

Rayo OKC head coach Alen Marcina resigned on Thursday, while the club’s operating management group, Sold Out Strategies has also left the organization. Rayo Vallecano has also announced that the club will be selling shares of the NASL club, which named Rayo Vallecano assistant technical director Gerard Nus as head coach. (REPORT)

Former MLS forward Kenny Cooper and Andrea Mancini have joined the New York Cosmos for a training stint. (REPORT)

Miami FC has further bolstered the club’s roster with the signing of striker Vincenzo Rennella, who previously played for Valladolid of Spain’s second division. (REPORT)

Al Lang Stadium will be one of several host venues the 2017 Florida Cup, which is set to include the Tampa Bay Rowdies, Wolfsburg and River Plate. The tournament, set for Jan. 7 – 21, 2017, has previously announced participants SC Corinthians, Bayer Leverkusen and Ecuador’s Barcelona SC. (REPORT)

The Rowdies have loaned forward Danny Mwanga to Ottawa Fury FC for the remainder of the NASL season. (REPORT)
