Thursday is a light day for Americans Abroad, but several U.S. Men’s National Team youngsters could see the field for their clubs.
After previously remaining on the bench in league play, Matt Miazga could make his Vitesse debut on Wednesday in a Dutch Cup clash with ASV de Dijk. The former New York Red Bulls defender isn’t the only American that could make an impact in the competition, as Rubio Rubin could see the field for FC Utrecht in a clash with FC Twente. Rubin has started three times for Utrecht this season, but has yet to score in 233 minutes on the field.
Elsewhere, Fafa Picault is unlikely to see the field for St. Pauli due to injury in a 2. Bundesliga clash with Bobby Wood’s former club, 1860 Munich.
