The UEFA Champions League returns on Tuesday, and Christian Pulisic’s Borussia Dortmund faces its toughest test yet.
After thumping Legia Warsaw, 6-0, in their Champions League opener, Borussia Dortmund returns to action on Tuesday against the reigning champions, Real Madrid. Pulisic provided an assist in the team’s lopsided opening-match win, and could be in line for another appearance after earning the nod as a substitute over the weekend. Elsewhere in the Champions League, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Tottenham face CSKA Moscow after the young centerback impressed in League Cup action last week.
English soccer also features several Americans in action, headlined by a clash between Eric Lichaj’s Nottingham Forest and Tim Ream, Luca de la Torre and Fulham. Danny Williams’ Reading faces a road match against Brentford, while Jonathan Spector and Birmingham City look to take down Preston North End on home turf.

Pulisic starting! This is, without question, the biggest step in his young career and arguably the greatest show of faith from Tuchel.
Never mind. Got ahead of myself. Read the wrong lineup. Back to work now.
Well, this should be an exciting day!
