It isn’t quite a battle of unbeatens, but when Syracuse visits Notre Dame on Friday it will signal the biggest match of the season to date in college soccer.
The SBI No. 1 Orange will put their perfect 8-0 record on the line against the once-beaten Fighting Irish, which held the top spot in the SBI Top 25 just a week ago. Two of the nation’s best central defenders will be on display, as Syracuse’s Miles Robinson and Notre Dame’s Brandon Aubrey do battle.
North Carolina started the season as the top team in the country, and can look to edge closer to a return with a win against No. 20 Boston College on Friday.
Virginia takes on surging Louisville in Saturday’s marquee matchup, while No. 12 San Diego State takes on San Diego in Sunday’s most intriguing clash.
