An injury looks set to keep John Brooks sidelined for another big game.
Brooks missed Hertha Berlin training on Tuesday with what has been described as muscular problems and is doubtful for this weekend’s Bundesliga clash with Schalke. Brooks has been a key part of Hertha’s side in their first two matches this season, both wins, and would be a tough miss for the team as they face a Schalke squad looking to bounce back after losing each of their opening matches.
“Muscle-related injuries are always difficult,” Hertha head coach Pal Dardai said, according to Kicker. “It’ll be a race against time for him.”
After a strong Copa America this summer, Brooks missed out on the most recent U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup qualifiers due to a back injury.
What do you think of Brooks injury? Any concerns?

Quite frankly, he’s the best central defender to ever wear a US jersey. Hope he rests it off as he should and gets better!
When it comes to Muscle injuries, any race is ill advised especially against time … get it? a Race w/ time. see, it’s funny because time is not a real thing that one can compete with. oh brother! 🙁
