An unlikely player found his way onto the scoresheet on Saturday, a day that saw a majority of the Americans Abroad take the field.
Tim Ream scored Fulham’s lone goal in Fulham’s 2-1 loss to Queens Park Rangers. After seeing the goalkeeper parry a shot, Ream pounced on a loose ball in the box. The defender’s volleyed show caromed off a defender and in for Ream’s first league goal since leaving the New York Red Bulls.
Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic earned another start for Borussia Dortmund, but exited at halftime in a 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen. Lynden Gooch and Matt Miazga earned late substitute appearances, while John Brooks remained resigned to the bench in his first match since a return from injury.
