World Cup qualifying resumes on Thursday as nations from Europe and South America jockey for positioning in their respective groups.
A jam-packed day begins with UEFA World Cup qualifying, highlighted by Italy and Spain in a rematch of their round of 16 meeting at Euro 2016 this past summer. Elsewhere, Kosovo will play its second official game against Croatia and Turkey battles Ukraine.
The action shifts to South America as the ninth round of CONMEBOL qualifiers kick off, beginning with Ecuador hosting Chile. The Copa America holders are currently in seventh place, two points away from the top five. Peru and a Lionel Messi-less Argentina will close out the day’s matches in Lima.
Enjoy the games.
