The UEFA Champions League returns on Tuesday with some of Europe’s heavy-hitters set to take the field in group stage action.

Headlining the proceedings is a clash between German and English contenders as Bayer Leverkusen plays host to Tottenham, the latter of whom have Cameron Carter-Vickers listed among bench options. The Spurs centerback isn’t the only American involved in Tuesday’s action, as Christian Pulisic starts for Borussia Dortmund in a clash with Sporting CP.

Elsewhere, Juventus visits France to take on Olympique Lyon, while Real Madrid looks to add three more points to their group stage haul with a win over Legia Warsaw. In other action, the CONCACAF Champions League returns on Tuesday night, as Liga MX side Tigres UANL hosts Herediano.

Comments

  1. I’ve watched every game this season for Dortmund and I haven’t been all that impressed with Gotze. There are games that I wasn’t even aware he was on the field.

  2. Pulisic putting in some good defensive work. Feeling safer about him defending vs Mexico and CR.

He seems more an attack threat on the left, but he’s moving well. In position for a few goals if the service had come.

  3. Pulisic with somewhat of a surprise start considering Mor is unavailable for the weekend. He should be on the same side as Bryan Ruiz so perhaps a little preview of the Hex match up.
