Andrew Wooten and Danny Williams haven’t recently been a part of the U.S. Men’s National Team’s plans, but the two Americans shined over the weekend on the club level.

Wooten bagged a brace on Saturday in 2. Bundesliga play while Danny Williams fired a goal of his own for Reading in the English Championship. Wooten’s finishes came in the 60th and 74th minute of Sandhausen’s 3-1 win over Karlsruher, giving the forward his sixth and seventh goals of the season. Williams, meanwhile, scored one of three in Reading’s 3-0 drubbing of Burton Albion.

  1. If Flashscore.com is correct, Andrew Wooten was credited with an assist on the goal he didn’t score, meaning that he participated in every Sandhausen goal that game!
