The Bundesliga once again takes centerstage on Wednesday as several Americans could see the field ahead of the winter break.

Following a goalscoring performance last time out, Alfredo Morales will look to continue to build as Ingolstadt takes on Freiburg. The American midfielder is in the lineup as Ingolstadt looks to climb out of the relegation zone.

Werder Bremen sits just above them, and Aron Johannsson will be on the bench for Wednesday’s clash with fifth-place Hoffenheim.

One player who won’t be involved, though, is John Brooks. After being rested for Hertha Berlin’s last match, Brooks was once again left off the team’s matchday squad for Wednesday’s clash against Darmstadt.
