Eintracht Frankfurt will be without of their key contributors in their next Bundesliga match.
The German FA announced that U.S. international Timothy Chandler was handed a one-match ban after his red card in Frankfurt’s 0-0 draw with Hoffenheim on Friday. Chandler was sent off following a clash with Sandro Wagner.
The defender will now miss Eintracht’s home match against Wolfsburg on Saturday as a result of the ban.
Frankfurt is in fifth in the Bundesliga, but are level with fourth-placed Hoffenheim on 26 points. Both sides are seven points adrift of league leaders Bayern Munich.
