Entering Saturday’s match, Real Madrid has a six-point lead over their longtime rivals, making the clash a pivotal one in the early stages of the La Liga title race.
English soccer also features a clash of traditional powers as Manchester City hosts Chelsea in a matchup of title contenders. Chelsea currently sits atop the table, but Man City and Liverpool remain hot on their heels as the Premier League moves towards the busy festive period.

Bob Bradley to LA Galaxy?
Just watched the goals–I feel almost like Spurs could, on any given day, have done that to any team in the bottom 2/3 of the table. They’re actually quite good.
Except they haven’t played that way since 4-0 against Stoke in the beginning of Sept. Spurs were 1 win 4 losses and 5 draws over their last 10 games.
The wheels fell off after the bad penalty call on the first goal.
