Oh my that goal from: Bobby-Bobby Wood yall.
I like that Pulisic has been getting his time on the field, but he seems sort of uninvolved lately. Most of the passing seems to go through the other midfielders.
Iv been noticing the same, wondering if hes hit a wall of sorts or if defenders are getting a better feel for him. Seems to be trying to hard to press the issue.
Schmelzer goes forward a lot more than whoever plays RB so their wide attacks go away from his side. He’s always been more dangerous for them on the left versus on the right where he’s been mostly this season. Teammates seem to be using his runs as decoys, but he was more involved in this match than he was in the previous match in which they went down a man.
The right back hardly ever looked at Pulisic, let alone feed him the ball. CP looked good and danheroes with his few chances. Even commentator was suggesting they needed to feed ball through him.
*dangerous*
was reading on one of the dortmund sites that he’s been asked to do more of a defensive job recently, even playing as a nominal wingback at times. not sure how i feel about that.
He’s only 18 years old and at the beginning of the season we were wondering if he should go on loan in order to get playing time. Now he is a regular starter. At 18, in the Bundesliga, for a top club! Even in some Championship League games. Although it didn’t work out, the departed Klinsmann thought enough of Pulisic to design an offense around giving him a lot of room to roam. And yet already some people are wondering why he has dropped off. Puuulllleassse. Not to say that CP will end up being anywhere near as good, but if you compare him at age 18 with Messi and Ronaldo at that age, he compares favorably. In his first season as a starter Messi had 8 goals in 25 games (as a winger), Ronaldo 3 goals in 25(playing in Portugal for Sporting). Both of those players didn’t really break out until they were 20, 21.
