The final matches of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League highlights the action on Wednesday

Group F is the center of the action as Real Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund for the top of the group in Spain, while Sporting CP and Legia Warsaw battle for the 3rd-place Europa League spot. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen face off with AS Monaco in group E play, securely in first and second respectively, while Tottenham and CSKA Moscow battle for third and fourth.

Group G has an open battle in the middle of the table, as Leicester are securely first and take on FC Porto, who sit only two points above FC Copenhagen for the second advancing position. Copenhagen will hope for a Leicester victory and their own against Club Brugge. Group H also remains wide open, with Sevilla able to finish anywhere from first to third pending their result against Lyon and the result of Juventus and Dinamo Zagreb

  1. The subs Tuchel made must have been planned before the match. Reus for Schurrle was a good move, but Pulisic was maybe their most dangerous player and looked fresher than Dembele, who should have come off for Mor.

    Pulisic lively, tenacious, and made Marcelo look bad on a few occasions. Only one shot that I remember, fairly weak. He set up Castro several times and earned a few corners. He was also more than decent on defense winning the ball and passing out of pressure, though he could have done better on the 2nd goal (still mostly Bartra’s fault).

    But it all worked out so, yay!

  3. IMO Marcelo is a top 3 left back in the world and he seems to have been instructed to mark Pulisic everywhere he goes. It’s going to be a long day for CP but this will be a great test to see what he his truly made of
