All eyes will be on Scotland on Wednesday as Americans collide in what should be an entertaining midfield battle.

Fresh off of his debut goal, Emerson Hyndman will look to lead Rangers to a road win against Perry Kitchen, Bjorn Johnsen and Hearts. The battle pits two U.S. Men’s National Team midfielders against one another as fourth-place Hearts look go gain ground on second-place Rangers in a clash of two of Scotland’s top teams.

English soccer features several American regulars, headlined by DeAndre Yedlin, who joins Newcastle for a clash with Queens Park Rangers. Tim Ream’s Fulham is also in action, while Geoff Cameron will likely be sidelined once again due to injury.

Elsewhere, Josh Perez will hope to be named to Fiorentina’s squad to face PEscara while Edgar Castillo and Monterrey face Copa MX action.

Here’s a closer look at Wednesday’s Americans Abroad:

Geoff Cameron and Stoke City take on Everton. (Cameron is injured)

Josh Perez and Fiorentina face Pescara.

Tim Ream and Fulham visit Burton Albion.

DeAndre Yedlin and Newcastle host Queens Park Rangers.

Perry Kitchen, Bjorn Johnsen and Hearts face Emerson Hyndman and Rangers.

Edgar Castillo and Monterrey take on Dorados.

  1. Hyndman quickly becoming a fan favorite…..hopefully he can keep this form going and parlay that success back to Bournemouth

  2. Hyndman scored, Johnsen had an assist and created a second by challenging the goalie for a header, and Kitchen ran the midfield for Hearts. Solid USA showing! Also, Rangers fans booed when the coach subbed Hyndman in the 65th (he was playing well, guessing coach is trying to get him slowly adjusted.)
