Americans Abroad Weekend Preview: Pulisic, Johnson, Green and more

German soccer is once again the focal point as Americans Abroad go head-to-head across both divisions of Bundesliga soccer.

Starting in the top division, Americans collide as Christian Pulisic’s Borussia Dortmund faces Terrence Boyd and Darmstadt while Aron Johannsson and Werder Bremen take on Fabian Johnson’s Borussia Monchengladbach. In the 2. Bundesliga, Julian Green returns for Stuttgart, facing off with a surging Andrew Wooten, who has scored eight goals in 11 games for Sandhausen.

Liga MX also sees several Americans face off, headlined by a clash between Omar Gonzalez and Jose Torres. Elsewhere, William Yarbrough and Leon face off with Jonathan Bornstein and Queretaro, while Paul Arriola, Joe Corona and Tijuana and Necaxa.

In other action, DeAndre Yedlin and Newcastle face Wolves while Perry Kitchen, Bjorn Johnsen and Emerson Hyndman all look to lead their teams through Scottish Cup action.
