Americans Abroad Tuesday Rewind: Pulisic, Arriola, Ream and more

Christian Pulisic stole the show on Tuesday, but several other potential U.S. Men’s National Team call-ups also took the field for their respective clubs.

The Borussia Dortmund star led the way with yet another goal, his third in four games, as Borussia Dortmund toppled Sportfruende Lotte, 3-0, in DFB-Pokal play. Pulisic’s finish started the Dortmund scoring in the second half, setting up a semifinal date with Bayern Munich.

In Mexico, Tijuana was less fortunate in Copa MX play as the club was knocked out in the quarterfinal round. Paul Arriola, Joe Corona and Michael Orozco all saw the field, but Xolos couldn’t overcome Morelia in a 2-0 loss. In other Copa MX action, Jorge Villafana dressed but did not play as Santos Laguna also fell in the quarterfinals in a loss to Cruz Azul.

Tim Ream, meanwhile, headlined English action, playing all 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw.
