  1. If Fabian is out is there time to replace him on the roster? Maybe arriola or green, how does the FIFA rules work on something like this

    • Yes a player can be replaced up to I think 24 hours in advance. It’s not like the WC or Copa were a roster is locked in.

    • Maybe a little hyperbole but it would be a huge blow. His skillset will be hard to replace with the roster we have. It’s not a stretch when I say he is one of our most important players in what are essentially must win games.

    • FJ is one of our better players but if slotted on the wing is in one of our deeper positions. Could postpone a possible move by CP inside. Nagbe or Pulisic can play LW, even Wood has played there for US and Morris for Sounders. Replacement if needed could point to where CP is going to play if it’s Green or Arriola look for him inside if it’s Kljestan or Benny he’ll be outside. Lletget could also replace FJ. Disappointing but hardly seems devastating. Unless he was secretly going to play FB then the roster still looks week at that position.

  2. Why did Fabian come off in the 16th minute? How serious is the injury? That could be devastating to our upcoming qualifiers.
