Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

Wednesday is full of Champions League action, spanning several continents.

In the afternoon, the UEFA Champions League continues play as Monaco battles Manchester City while Atletico Madrid take on Bayer Leverkusen as each seeks to earn a place in the quarterfinals. In the early evening, the Copa Libertadores returns to action with a slate of five matches. Headlined by a clash between Colombia’s Medellin and Argentina’s River Plate, teams from across CONMEBOL compete in the group stages to qualify through to the knockout rounds.

Later, the CONCACAF Champions League returns for a second straight night, as FC Dallas welcome Liga MX’s Pachuca to Toyota Stadium for leg one of their semifinal clash. Just a bit later, Mexico’s Copa MX returns with a match between Guadalajara and Juarez.
