The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team can book their spot in the U-20 World Cup on Friday night.
Following Monday’s win over Mexico, the U.S. head into Friday’s clash with El Salvador with a stranglehold on a World Cup spot. The U.S. can seal a spot in South Korea with a win, draw or loss by less than two goals, while a win or a draw would be enough to send the U.S. into the CONCACAF final against Honduras.
Head coach Tab Ramos has gone with a generally familiar starting XI, featuring the defensive pairing of Timmy Redding and Justen Glad as well as the star midfield trio of Erik Palmer-Brown, Tyler Adams and Eryk Williamson. Emmanuel Sabbi joins the fray at striker, while the Philadelphia Union’s Auston Trusty also moves into the starting XI.
One hour until kickoff as World Cup Qualification comes to a head tonight.
