Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

While a UEFA Champions League semifinal headlines the day, it’s not the only big match on the schedule.

Real Madrid’s spot in the UEFA Champions League final is all but safe following a 3-0 first leg win over crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid, but Cristiano Ronaldo and co. will need to take care of business in the return leg. Juventus awaits following a big win over Monaco on Tuesday afternoon.

In England, Arsenal’s push for a Champions League spot continues in a match against Southampton, one that is essentially a must-win for Arsene Wenger’s side. The Gunners sit six points behind Manchester City with one game in hand, making each match vital from this point forward.

Meanwhile, the Liguilla begins for teams in Liga MX while an MLS match headlines the evening’s action as the Columbus Crew take on Toronto FC.
