Christian Pulisic is coming stateside this summer for the International Champions Cup.

Pulisic and Dortmund will be joined by Manchester United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid this summer as the tournament organizers announced the first five teams set to come to the U.S. this summer.

With the World Cup upcoming, clubs are not expected to feature full rosters, making Pulisic a headliner for Dortmund. Fellow American Cameron Carter-Vickers could also play a part for Tottenham after featuring prominently in the club’s preaseason last summer before moving to the Championship on loan.

The 2017 ICC was won by Barcelona in a tournament headlined by an El Clasico in Miami against Real Madrid. Also included were clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Roma and Tottenham.

  1. So everyone of the teams so far other than Atletico will have an American or possible future American player on their roster, something to be excited about I guess and with the world cup just finishing they will all probably receive significant mins

    • But will anyone of them be with their clubs by the time the Summer comes along? Seems likely that neither CP or CCV will be with BvB and Spurs when the actual season starts. Tillman and Olosunde may actually get some minutes during the preseason though.

      • With CP it probably depends on the next manager they bring in. And I’m sure CCV will get a chance in preseason before going out on loan again.

      • I don’t think Pulisic will be moving personally. He will hold value for a while and it’s possibly still going up. No need for Dortmund to cash in just yet really.
