Two days after announcing his roster for a pair of European friendlies, U.S. Men’s National Team interim head coach Dave Sarachan now knows the roster of his first opponents.
England National Team head coach Gareth Southgate announced his 28-man roster for their friendly against the U.S. at Wembley Stadium on Nov. 15th.
Headlining the roster are Tottenham striker Harry Kane, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, and Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho.
D.C. United forward and England all-time leading goalscorer Wayne Rooney has also been included for the match as a final international sendoff. The former Manchester United and Everton man has not featured for the Three Lions since 2016.
Four players will be seeking their first caps with the National Team. England will take on Croatia in an important UEFA Nations League fixture three days later, while the USMNT will travel to Genk, Belgium to face Italy on Nov. 20th.

England should win comfortably if not by a big score. This is pretty close to the same as their WC team as I remember it. However, Italy isn’t very strong these days and has few dangerous strikers. I think we will get a result in that game.
Hmmm… yes the England game has the as much potential for disaster of any we have faced. Not because they are better than France/Brazil/Colombia etc… but because they are very, very direct. If we aren’t well-organized, and continue to rely on last-minute recoveries as we did in those games, it will go very poorly. But there is upside as well…. Should be a really unique test.

I see more of a 2-2 scoreline….if France couldn’t beat us at home thoroughly, i honestly don’t see England doing it either!
I can only see 2-2 the Italy game. Against England nope prepare for a thrashing.
Rooney will get some headline, but Pulisic vs. Sancho should be interesting….Wonder if Pulisic will be used as a winger or centrally
