  1. Weird to see Busio get some hate by USMNT fans. I thought he was pretty solid at the Gold Cup. I think people expected too much from him. Agree, about Canada, they have some sick talent on the attacking front. Costa Rica going to struggle in this cycle as they are still depended on the older players.People act like Sargent had a bad season last season and he had 7 goals, thats a real good season.

  2. The strategy for qualifying with three games in windows will be pretty interesting. I ca see US using A team in first two games as you suggested or gambling that Canada will rest players in 2nd game. All the teams will be in the same boat as US so will Canada play A team at home and B team on road at US for first window? Will teams concede a loss to Mexico (and maybe US) in order to field A team in other two games? I think it would be very difficult to play all three qualifiers in a window for anyone unless club teams rest them before and after the window. Don’t think any club would be happy about that.
