Christian Pulisic made his return for English side Chelsea in Champions League play midweek and the American star will now look to gather some more minutes before U.S. men’s national team duty later this month.

Pulisic helped close out a 1-0 win for the Blues over Malmo in UEFA Champions League play this week, making his first appearance at club level since mid-August. The USMNT playmaker’s services have been missed at Stamford Bridge this season and the 23-year-old will have one final opportunity before involvement in November’s World Cup Qualifiers.

A league clash with Burnley on Saturday provides Pulisic with a great chance to not only get more minutes under his belt, but be an option for Thomas Tuchel, whether it’s in the starting lineup or off the bench. Pulisic scored a hat-trick against the Clarets in 2019 and will for similar success in London this time around.

Elsewhere, Yunus Musah and Valencia host Atletico Madrid in La Liga while Weston McKennie and Juventus aim to rebound in Serie A against Fiorentina. Brenden Aaronson and Red Bull Salzburg close out their schedule for now with a showdown against Austria Vienna in Bundesliga action. Joe Scally will try to continue his dream season with Borussia Mönchengladbach against Bochum in Germany.
