Americans Abroad Weekend Rewind: McKennie, Pulisic, and more

Juventus earned one of the more impressive wins of the weekend in Europe with its road victory against Lazio on Saturday, and Weston McKennie played a key part as he continued to solidify his standing as one of Massimiliano Allegri’s most important players.

McKennie completed 24 of 28 passes and added two interceptions and two clearances in Juventus’ 2-0 win against Lazio. After delivering a strong performance over the international break against Mexico, McKennie will now aim to remain in Massimiliano Allegri’s starting lineup for this week’s Champions League visit to Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic helped Chelsea claim a 3-0 win at Leicester City after scoring off of the bench, Ian Harkes scored the winning goal for Dundee United in league play and Gianluca Busio set up the winning goal in Venezia’s 1-0 victory over Bologna.
