Christian Pulisic already has a UEFA Champions League title under his belt at Chelsea and moved one step closer to claiming his first domestic trophy in England.

Pulisic and Chelsea advanced to the Carabao Cup semifinals on Wednesday after defeating Brentford 2-0 at the Community Stadium in the quarterfinal round. The Blues will next face Tottenham over two legs in January after being paired against their London rivals following Wednesday’s road victory.

Pulisic played 45 minutes off of the bench for Thomas Tuchel’s side, helping the Blues score two late goals at the Community Stadium to pick up the win. Pontus Jansson’s own goal in the 80th minute broke the deadlock between the two London-based clubs before Jorginho’s penalty kick finish in the 85th minute iced the result.

The 23-year-old Pulisic won both of his individual duels in the match while also drawing one foul and completing one dribble. After playing a part off of the bench on Wednesday, Pulisic could return to the starting lineup for Sunday’s road trip to Aston Villa in the Blues’ latest match during the festive period.

Chelsea, which is six points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, faces off with Aston Villa in Birmingham before showdowns with Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool. The Blues will begin their two-legged semifinal tie with Tottenham on January 4 at Stamford Bridge before visiting Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Jan. 11.
