Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers continues its push for separation in the league table and American midfielder James Sands will look to remain in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s starting lineup this week.
Rangers hosts Livingston in Premiership play this week, looking to move seven points clear of rivals Celtic in the table. Sands made his Rangers debut last week in a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen, showing positive signs for his new club. The New York City FC loanee did not feature in Rangers’ lopsided Scottish Cup win on Friday against Sterling Albion and should be well rested to start this week. Rangers has won its last six head-to-head meetings against Livingston and has not lost to the visitors since 2018.
Elsewhere, Bryan Reynolds will look to debut for Belgian side Kortrijk while Sam Vines and Chris Durkin are also in league action. Matthew Olosunde made his first appearance in over one month for Preston North End and now looks for a repeat performance. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic take on Hearts in Scottish Premiership play.
