The UEFA Champions League quarterfinals are set.

Friday morning’s draw pitted defending UCL winners Chelsea against La Liga leaders Real Madrid in the second meeting between the two clubs in the past seasons. Chelsea advanced past Real Madrid in last season’s semifinals, which featured U.S. men’s national team star Christian Pulisic continuing his strong goalscoring form against Los Blancos.

English Premier League leaders Manchester City face a tough test against Spanish club Atletico Madrid in the final eight. It will be the latest encounter between managers Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone, who last met in the 2015-16 edition of the tournament.

On the opposite side of the bracket, Liverpool faces off with Portuguese club Benfica in the first-ever meeting between the two clubs. Jurgen Klopp’s side remains well in the race for the EPL title and will now prepare for a two-legged showdown with Benfica, which is in third place in the Primeira Liga.

Bayern Munich earned a favorable draw in the quarterfinals, being paired up against La Liga club Villarreal. It will be the first meeting between the two clubs since the 2011 group stage, which Bayern won in both matches. Villarreal is flying high after eliminating Serie A giants Juventus in the Round of 16.

The quarterfinal first legs will take place on April 5/6 and the second legs will occur on April 12/13.
