if he’s not fit, no way should he go to the WC. Nor should he fit his rehab scheduled return to play around the WC schedule or any other schedule for that matter except the schedule his body requires to fully recover. If that gets him on the plane, super! it’s not some bruise or knock. I wish him luck but the worst thing to do is rush the recovery in any way, redo the same injury, etc.
Not only should Reyna not rush anything to go to Qatar he should choose not to go to Qatar unless he feels that he is 100% fit and ready. Dortmund pays his bills and his next contract is going to be determined by how well he plays for Dortmund. Reyna is young and will get other opportunities to play in the world cup especially now that the field has been expanded and qualification is a gimmie.

If Gio looks at Timo’s recovery as a benchmark, then Gio isn’t going to Qatar.
Or if he does, he’s going as a high risk part time player.
