  1. to the tune of the Gambler
You don’t whine about players when they’re playin’ on the squad
There’ll be time enough for whining when the playin’s done.

  2. – Steffans did not make the cut..wow.
    – Cannon, who I had on my list, did not make the cut. Thinking Shaq Moore took that spot.
    – Roldan makes the cut at MF
    – Morris and Wright. No Pepi….wow

  3. Will any of the players be there in person during the roster reveal?
Well, Pulisic won’t be….THERE…he is in starting lineup today v ManCity.

  4. Daily Mail is saying roster is leaked: Roldan was selected over Arriola; and Ferrera over Pefok.

    • Roldan’s brother who plays for El Salvador is better than Cristian. The brother is a difference maker while this one is a squad player.

    • That “LEAK” reported by the daily mail was put together by Filipo Silva (Tactical Manager) based on his personal reading of various other “leaked” posts on Twitter and social. I’m not sure it will be accurate. But I won’t be too upset if it is. Other “leaks” saying no Steffen. Two more hours…

  5. GB made a statement the other day that he would take 4 cb’s
I’m guessing with Dest and this abductor issue he brings Cannon not McKenzie

  6. It’s a travesty that Arriola is projected to be on the roster over Pefok. Another one is DLT over Mihailjovic.

Other than Pulisic, who is going to create opportunities out of nothing? The rest can win balls and pressure and hope the opponent makes mistakes but what if that game plan fails, who is going to create for you if Pulisic has a bad day?

I think Pefok knew he was no longer in consideration for a spot, and it has affected his form starting around 1.5 months ago. Seems like there’s some apathy in the way he plays now since he knows he’s not going. Before that he was very hungry and intense but not going through the motions, and didn’t play in their last Europa League game and poor form a few weeks leading up to it.

  7. 1. I think Cannon makes the team. He has considerable experience in a 3 back formation. Thinking Ream stays and McKenzie loses his spot.
    2. I think Horvath makes the team. Lots of consistent minutes in Championship.
    3. Assuming LDLT is targeted for full recovery in time for WC.

    • If there’s any deviation from Ive’s projection I agree it’ll likely be exactly where you pointed. Not much to add to that other than maybe we’ll see Pefok but his cooling off gives Gregg a justification for spurning him.

  8. Interesting with Sean Johnson in and Horvath out? CBS is reporting Steffens out?

Also, Cannon out and Joe Scally in? Is Cannon injured? He has logged lot of minutes for Berhalter

Arriola in and Morris out? Personally think Morris offers much more then Arriola. Most of all he can finish around the box and physically can hold his own

Everyone has there opinions and it is fun to speculate but whatever the team selections are I support the USMNT. Very much looking forward to the World Cup, especially the USMNT matches. The US making the final 8 would be a success for me!

    • I agree, and Horvath has been starting every week since he got to Luton Town. Steffen only recently started playing again only a few weeks ago.
