La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid renew one of the world’s greatest rivalries this weekend as they square off in the latest installment of El Clasico.
Barcelona currently holds a nine-point lead on Real Madrid in La Liga, and count recent victories over Los Blancos in the Spanish Super Cup and the first leg of their Copa Del Rey clash. Real Madrid is fresh off securing a place in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, where they will face Chelsea.
This weekend’s selection of rivalry treats continues in Italy, where the latest installment of the Rome Derby kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio and Roma are fighting for a place in the Serie A Top Four, with Lazio currently in third place and Roma sitting just two points back in fifth place.
The Derby D’Italia is also on tap this weekend, with Juventus facing Inter Milan.
