PSG – AC Milan headlines This Week’s Soccer on TV

The UEFA Champions League rolls on this week with AC Milan visiting Paris Saint-Germain in the headlining clash of Matchday No. 3.

Defending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain sit in second place ahead of its match with third place AC Milan in what should be a crucial match for both clubs. PSG is unbeaten in its last two matches after suffering a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Newcastle United.

The Rossoneri fell to second place in Serie A over the weekend after falling 1-0 to Juventus.

Christian Pulisic and Oliver Giroud lead their side with four goals apiece this season while PSG talisman Kylian Mbappe registered his seventh league goal over the weekend.

Borussia Dortmund visits St. James’ Park for its duel with Newcastle United in the other match in the Group of Death. The Magpies put on a show for their supporters in their last Champions League match, defeating PSG 4-1.

The Magpies are unbeaten in eight-straight matches, registering six clean sheets during that span.

Borussia Dortmund remains winless across its first two group stage matches and sit in fourth place ahead of Wednesday’s European affair.

Despite an underwhelming UCL opener, Edin Terzic’s men split points with AC Milan on Matchday No. 2 and have won four-consecutive league matches since their 2-0 loss to PSG. German International Julian Brandt has scored two goals and registered two assists for the Black and Yellow.

Champions League action also features a massive match in Group B with second-place Arsenal visiting third-place Sevilla.

The Gunners split points in dramatic fashion over the weekend against fellow London rivals Chelsea overcoming a 2-0 deficit. Sevilla also split points over the weekend, tying league-leaders Real Madrid.

First meets second in Group A when group leaders Bayern Munich visit Galatasaray for its Champions League clash. Bayern remains unbeaten across all competitions collecting nine wins and two draws thus far.

Galatasaray hijacked three points from Old Trafford on Matchday 2 in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Manchester United.
