AC Milan – PSG headlines This Week’s Soccer on TV

It’s gut check time for many of Europe’s top teams as the UEFA Champions League group stage heads into its final few windows of matches.

AC Milan’s dreams of reaching the knockout stage could come to an end this week unless the Rossoneri claims three points against Paris Saint-Germain. The Rossoneri have failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions, scoring just two goals over that span.

PSG is cruising right now, winning their last five matches, which included a 3-0 home triumph over AC Milan back on Oct. 25. French star Kylian Mbappe leads the team with two goals in this season’s competition.

The Group of Death also features an intriguing showdown between Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United at Signal Iduna Park.

Edin Terzic’s men will be seeking a bounce-back performance after being blanked 4-0 at the weekend by Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. The loss was Dortmund’s first since Sept. 19 across all competitions.

Newcastle United is unbeaten in its last three matches, which includes a recent 1-0 EPL victory over Arsenal. The Magpies also ousted Manchester United from the EFL Cup and earned a 2-2 draw with Wolves.

Eddie Howe’s men will try and exact revenge after losing 1-0 to Dortmund back on Oct. 25.

Group A action rolls on with undefeated Bayern Munich hosting Galatasaray for their second head-to-head showdown in two weeks. Galatasaray fell 3-1 to Bayern back in October and will try to bounce-back with a crucial result.

Bayern forward Harry Kane and midfielder Jamal Musiala lead their club with two goals apiece while Galatasaray’s Mauro Icardi has registered two goals himself.

Major League Soccer Playoff action continues as well, with the Philadelphia Union seeking to eliminate the New England Revolution on Wednesday night. The Union won the first match of a Best-Of-3 Series by a 3-1 scoreline at Subaru Park.

Atlanta United returns home on Tuesday, aiming to keep its playoff hopes alive at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Five Stripes suffered a 2-0 road loss against the Columbus Crew in the first matchup, conceding a brace to Cucho Hernandez.
