Tim Ream has once again committed his future to Fulham.
Ream signed a contract extension with the Cottagers, which will keep him with the London club until June 2025. The 2023-24 campaign has marked Ream’s ninth season with Fulham, where he’s logged 15 appearances and scored one goal.
“It’s nice to get this done,” Ream said. “To be somewhere for as long as I have, it takes a lot of hard work. To be able to say you are looking at being at a place like this for ten years is not something that happens very often these days.
“To be someone who has that opportunity is a great feeling,” he added. “It fills me with pride to continue to adapt, to continue this rollercoaster that is football.”
The 36-year-old joined Fulham from fellow English club Bolton Wanderers in 2015 and has been a stalwart in the Cottagers backline. Ream has made 306 combined appearances for Fulham, scoring five goals and adding three assists.
In addition to being a regular contributor for Fulham, Ream has continued to be a key leader for the U.S. men’s national team. The Missouri native has earned 55 USMNT caps to date for his country.
“Tim Ream embodies what Fulham stands for, and I am delighted that with this new contract, he will reach a decade with the Club in 2025,” Tony Khan said about Ream.
“He is a huge character on the pitch and in the dressing room and a very important part of Marco’s squad,” he added. “Mr. Ream is a great favorite amongst our fans too, and I’m sure that you’ll all join me in saying congratulations and thank you, Tim! Come on Fulham!”
Fulham sits 13th in the Premier League standings and next hosts Arsenal on New Years Eve.
Wonder if Tim Ream will get so.ething named after him at the Cottage?
