AC Milan has reached the final 16 of the UEFA Europa League where Christian Pulisic has helped them remain one of the favorites to win the competition.
Pulisic and his Rossoneri teammates will welcome Slavia Prague to the San Siro on Thursday evening. The U.S. men’s national team star is coming off a confrontational performance on Friday, in which AC Milan defeated Lazio 1-0 in Serie A play. Pulisic was heavily involved in Luca Pellegrini’s ejection in the second half before Noah Okafor proceeded to deliver the winner with two minutes to play.
The 25-year-old has contributed eight goals and seven assists in his debut AC Milan campaign and will be among those pushing to contribute this week. Slavia Prague, who sits second in the Czech top-flight, resume its Europa League involvement after last featuring in the group stage in December.
