Americans Abroad Weekend Rewind: Pulisic, Weah, and more

Christian Pulisic’s Serie A campaign came to a close on Saturday with the U.S. men’s national team star adding to his already impressive stat line this season.

Pulisic assisted once in AC Milan’s 3-3 home draw with Salernitana, logging 90 minutes from his right midfield position. The 25-year-old won seven duels, drew one foul, and completed four dribble attempts as the Rossoneri held on for one point in their season finale at the San Siro.

Pulisic’s near post cross in the 77th minute was finished off by Davide Calabria, giving AC Milan a 3-1 lead. However, Salernitana would fight back to tie the match with only minutes to play.

Pulisic’s first season in Serie A ends with the attacker totaling 15 goals and 11 assists in all competitions. Now after a positive end to his club campaign, Pulisic will focus on upcoming USMNT involvement this June.

In Italy, Tim Weah went the distance in a 2-0 Serie A win for Juventus. Tanner Tessmann scored in the Serie B promotion playoffs as Venezia advanced in the competition.

In Scotland, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic lifted the Scottish Cup over rivals Rangers.
