The U.S. men’s national team contingent kicks off their UEFA Champions League schedules this week with potentially five facing off in Juventus’ home showdown with PSV.

Weston McKennie and Richie Ledezma headline this group of players as both teams seek three points to begin their group stage schedule. McKennie did not feature on Saturday in the Bianconeri’s 0-0 draw with Empoli as he continues to get back to full fitness. A late start to Juventus’ summer means McKennie hasn’t featured as much as he would’ve hoped this summer, but a start on Tuesday isn’t out of the question.

Ledezma has continued to shine at right back for PSV as he enjoyed a new lease on life in Peter Bosz’s squad. Despite mainly being an attacking midfielder for most of his career, Ledezma has made the most of his opportunity, featuring in every league match this summer for PSV. Continued minutes will only help Ledezma as he tries to get back into the USMNT picture under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Malik Tillman, Ricardo Pepi, and Tim Weah will also be fighting to have a say in Tuesday’s result. Tillman has remained a creative player for PSV this season while Pepi is a threat off the bench for the second-straight season.

Weah, who returned from a hamstring injury on Saturday, will be seeking minutes of his own. The versatile winger/wing back might be reduced to a substitute role after missing a few weeks.

Elsewhere in Europe, Christian Pulisic and AC Milan host Liverpool. Auston Trusty seeks his Champions League debut with Celtic.

In Mexico, Brandon Vazquez and Alex Mendez square off in Liga MX play.

In Spain, Johnny Cardoso and Real Betis continue La Liga action.
