Back-to-back London Derby victories for Fulham have the Cottagers heading into the international break on a much better note.
Antonee Robinson logged his latest 90 minutes as Fulham defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday. After a thrilling home victory over Brentford five days prior, Marco Silva’s squad moved into the top seven of the league standings following Saturday’s triumph.
Emile Smith-Rowe and Harry Wilson both scored for Fulham, who also registered its first clean sheet since September 28. The 27-year-old Robinson won three duels, made four interceptions, and six defensive recoveries in the shutout win.
Robinson will now head into USMNT duty as the Americans seek advancement into the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals.
Elsewhere in England, Haji Wright scored for Coventry City but left the match with an ankle injury. Tyler Adams logged 60+ minutes in Bournemouth’s loss to Brentford.
In Germany, Joe Scally helped Borussia Moenchengladbach to one point at RB Leipzig. Cole Campbell continued to feature off the bench for Borussia Dortmund. Damion Downs scored the winner for Cologne vs. Greuther Furth.
In Spain, Johnny Cardoso assisted once in Real Betis’ home draw with Celta Vigo.
In Italy, Tim Weah scored in Juventus’ Turin Derby win over Torino. Christian Pulisic and AC Milan drew 3-3 at Cagliari.
Elsewhere, Cade Cowell and Alex Zendejas both suffered Liga MX defeats. Paxten Aaronson scored the winner for FC Utrecht against Heracles. Bryan Reynolds and Westerlo suffered a road loss in Belgium. George Bello and LASK enjoyed a late road victory in Austria.
