that is even worse
More likely Armand Traore than Silvestre
What Jose S. said: Tiebreaker is head-to-head, and Liverpool loses that.
Gibbs out for 3 months with fractured metatarsal. Looks like we will see Silvestre vs Chelsea. Oh dear…
is it just me, or does soccer have more head-butting than other sports?
Champions League uses head to head as the first tie breaker
Liverpool lost and drew with Lyon, so Lyon has the tie-breaker over Liverpool. Liverpool is out.
Liverpool letting those two final minute goals against Lyon are the reason they are out.
skysports confirm that liverpool are out- not sure about the calculations that decide it though:

I’m confused as well. if Liverpool beat fiorentina by 4 goals would they have a GD of +3, Fio would be +1 and they would be tied on points. What am i missing? thanks for any assitance!
I’m genuinely curious to know what you think you just said.
How is ‘Pool out? Isn’t the first tiebreaker GD? If Lyon loses(not likely) and’pool wins then Lyon and Pool both finish with 10 points.
Stuttgart beat Rangers 2-0 :-). Sets up winner-takes-all at home vs Unirea. Go Vfb!
Thanks. So it shouldn’t be long term then. That’s a relief.
i know. it is delicious irony n’est pas? they win … but they lose! i must admit to just a bit of Schadenfreude as a Red Devil.
yes, Liverpool crash out!! they finally win a game and it doesn’t matter.
ask not for whom the bell tolls … it tolls for thee liverpool …. hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Standard Liege is down to 10, Carcela-Gonzalez red carded for headbutting Fabregas (who was yellow carded) after an exhange of words.
Deprecen misses from the spot andd liverpool win
Gallas and Arshavin collided in the 1st half, banged heads, both went off for treatment (Arshavin was bleeding) and Gallas came back on looking woozy and somewhat out of it. I’d guess that’s why he was replaced at the half.
Any word on why Gallas went out for Arsenal? Gamecast said injury but nothing specific. Anyone have more
I’ve seen drooling 2-month olds speak sentences that make more sense than this….
sure, no problem. enjoy the game!
Oh, a final nail in Rangers coffin would be good too. The quality of football in the knockout rounds goes up if there are no Scottish teams there. Bad news for Edu if he ever recovers and Beas too…but it’s still worth it.
3 yellow cards by Rangers already….Braveheart football.
It’s fine, let Liverpool win and still get eliminated by a Fiorentina win. That will salve my pain over Barca advancing.
Brilliant, thank you for the link!

2-0 to Arsenal. An amazing last minute strike by Denilson to end the first half!
Arsenal 2-0, beautiful shot from Denilson

shut up and recieve, IVES!! that is ALL u are good for. thoroughly might i add!
(SBI-Huh?)
barcelona is really amazing, they have so many good players to back up the star players. It’s just crazy
Barca up 2-0 in the 26th
BARCELONA 2-0!! Pedrito just scored Barca’s second on a beautiful sequence. No Messi? No Ibrahimovic? No problem for Barcelona.
Liverpool is already up 1-0. Life is full of disappointments, isn’t it?
Vela starting for Arsenal in the Champions today!
