What seemed like not much of a title race in England has suddenly become a contest as Chelsea's win on Saturday has given Manchester United a reason to feel some pressure.
Chelsea's win against Tottenham means Manchester United will need to secure all three points from its visit to Arsenal today in order to avoid losing even more ground heading into their meeting with Chelsea next week.
In other action today, West Ham will travel to Manchester with hopes of pumping some new life into a nightmare season. The last-place Hammers need a road win to have any chance of escaping what seems like inevitable relegation.

Aresnal won. Nobody mentioned this yet?! Next weeks Chelsea vs. Man U game will be epic.
Bari score, 2-2 over Roma. But Totti will just dive again and tie it up for Roma I am sure.
He’s just coming of off Achilles injury and Grant has decided to save him for the last two games.
Jozy in 67th min.
If a player makes it to the EPL and to Manchester United no less, chances are pretty good he has faced countless defenders.
And most of them were probably pretty good. And most of them probably knew/know Valencia is predominantly one-sided.
And I would say Valencia has probably figured out how to beat most of them, one footed or not.
Spector is doing a good job providing composure from deep and a spark in advanced areas, as well as nice transition passes.
Spector isn’t anywhere near is bad as you’re suggesting. He’s a downgrade from Parker for sure, but not a half bad replacement. He’s twice set up his team mates with good opportunities against Chelsea and City respectively that they should have finished.
What’s up with Scotty Parker? Thought I saw him in the stands at Stamford Bridge yesterday?!!?
we’ll take Drogba. you can keep Torres 😉
To: Arsenal From: Chelsea Thanks for not blowing it this week. By the way, do you want a striker? I heard you’ll have over $50 mil from selling Cesc. We’ve got someone available for that price.
When you have Spector in your starting central midfield, you likely deserve to go down
Death. Taxes. West Ham fighting relegation.
LOL +1
el inSpector starting at midfield for the Hammers. hope they can get a result at City
Arsenal WIN, we were the better team for all 90+ minutes
even if we don’t win the league, F@%%K OFF united
in Yank news, Spector is in the starting XI again for West Ham against Man City. City has been rough against our Americans lately, hopefully de Jong doesn’t do anything silly!
Should have been a penalty on Arsenal there for stepping on the leg of Owen at the top of the box. Thought that was it.
Crucial save by Szczesny to preserve the lead.
Shouldn’t the question be “how will Arsenal find a way to blow this lead?” based on their luck this season?
Berbatov and Giggs for Carrick and Park?
At this rate? Yes. If Ferguson makes good subs… No.
“Can Arsenal hold a lead?” — a very good question
RAMSEY! Nice to have you back.
Composed first touch strike by Ramsey!
not saying he’s not a good player, but if i was defending him i would force him onto his left every time.
GREAT GOAL. RAMSEY!!!
Proof’s in the pudding, my friend.
Valencia, the man with no left foot.
It’s hard to have Chicharito score when there’s no short passing from United! The inclusion of Valencia would change such an issue, in my opinion.
+1 However the ref needed help from the linesman.
Vidic should have just caught the ball
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Let us supplement this beautiful day of football with our cutting commentary and occasional snide observations. Good day.
0-0 at halftime at the Emirates. Vidic had a handball in the box that wasn’t given. And that was about the extent of the excitement. Back and forth.
Normally I’m not one to complain about refs but this guy…meh
It’s hard to be a Manchester United supporter when you know Vidic just made an extremely unsporting play…
