The draw for this upcoming summer's Euro 2012 tournament is set to go in Kiev, Ukraine, with 16 teams eager to find out who they'll be competing against for the continent's championship. With co-hosts Poland and Ukraine placed in the first pot, there's bound to be some treacherous group pairings for some of the world's top teams.
SBI will be providing live commentary on the draw, which can be seen on Fox Soccer Channel starting at noon.
As a reminder, here are the four pots that will determine the groups:
POT 1 - Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine
POT 2 - England, Italy, Germany, Russia
POT 3 - Croatia, Greece, Sweden, Portugal
POT 4 - France, Denmark, Czech Republic, Republic of Ireland
Let's get started (commentary is after the jump):
Come on Sweden. Go against the odds and top Group D
they finished top of their qualifying group beating Portugal.
Sucks to be Denmark.
Group B = ouch.
Another group of death for Portugal.
Are they going to show the draw on fox soccer?
I would love to see a Euro group of Spain, Italy, Greece or Portugal, and Ireland.
Anybody else seeing some pretty turrible Cover it live issues?
