While there may be high-profile matches this weekend in England, France, and Germany, only one game can match the emotions of 50 Super Bowls packed into one game.
This weekend marks the return of the Derby della Capitale between arch-rivals Lazio and Roma. The two club’s current fortunes couldn’t be any different, with Lazio struggling in mid-table while Roma is looking likely to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. But regardless of their current form, a win for either side means bragging rights for the rest of the season and maybe even longer.
A slate of other major clashes starts with Arsenal traveling to Liverpool. Jack Wilshere is expected to be back but it might not be enough to slow down Liverpool’s potent attack. On Sunday, AS Monaco host Paris Saint-Germain. Dimitar Berbatov could make his debut while PSG deal with the loss of Edinson Cavani.

Castillo and Gomez starting. Corona back on the bench. Arriola and Garza also on the bench
Corona subbed in tonight. Arriola was about to check in but the coach goes with someone else!!!
Swansea/Cardiff is on NBCSN, right? I cannot imagine NBC proper airing that game instead of Olympic coverage.
No reason to speculate. The information provided by Dan is correct.
NBCSN is showing Sochi coverage and will NOT show any games this weekend.
They have been putting a lot of advertising into this game, the “This is a Derby” ad.
Is it really USA network and not NBC network?
Too accommodate the Olympics coverage?
Yep. NBCSN has the live Olympic coverage in the morning, including figure skating.
anybody have a link to stream the Besiktas game/know if JJ is going to start today?
I think I read that he still has injury and fitness concerns.
Club says he is out for 2 weeks with pulled groin.
Bummer, thanks for the info guys.
“50 Super Bowls packed in to one game” Wow, that’s some outstanding hyperbole for a game between two also-rans.
